10 things you should know about the new 2,000-rupee note

The day of 8th November, which was just like a common day, when people were just going home after completing their work, Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi brought a message to the people of the country. In his one-hour speech, he imposed a ban on 500 and 1000 notes to eliminate black money from the country.

Now instead of 1,000 rupees note, a 2,000 rupee purple note has emerged.

This note has come into the Indian economy from November 10. Now forward the series of notes to be presented with a new design. First of all, 2,000 notes have been presented to the public.

This is the currency note of the largest value declared by the RBI. Earlier in January 1978, 5,000 and 10,000 notes were also published, which were then later closed. The notes are being printed in Mysore, Karnataka.
